Alexandra Morgan
PNOC Foundation Advisory Board Member
Alexandra Morgan is a veteran nonprofit executive in pediatric health. She recently retired as CEO of Family House, a San Francisco–based pediatric guest house where, over 22 years, she helped grow a small volunteer-run program into an 80-bedroom home away from home for more than 60,000 families whose children receive care at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Her board and advisory work centers on family-centered care, equitable access to leading-edge treatment, and building sustainable philanthropy for families facing life-threatening pediatric illness.
Over roughly four decades in San Francisco’s nonprofit sector, Morgan has led major capital campaigns, including a $43 million effort to design and build the Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House in Mission Bay, and has been recognized for her leadership by the City of San Francisco and partners such as the Golden State Warriors’ Warriors Community Foundation,CBS San Francisco, Thrive Global, and Haute Living SF. A graduate of the University of San Francisco, she serves on the Leo T. McCarthy Center’s emeritus advisory board and continues to lend her expertise to PNOC Foundation and other pediatric cancer initiatives that pair family-centered support with innovative research.
