Kevin Keenley

PNOC Foundation Board Member

Kevin Keenley is founder and managing partner of San Francisco–based private equity firm Fundamental Capital, which invests in consumer-related, profitable growth companies and provides hands-on strategic and operational support to management teams. Over more than three decades in private equity, leveraged finance, and executive management, Kevin has led turnarounds, leveraged buyouts, and growth investments, including service as Chairman of Schwinn and majority-ownership and board roles with pop-culture collectibles company Funko, Voodoo Doughnuts and other consumer businesses. Earlier in his career, Kevin held roles at Questor Partners, Heller Investments, Heller Financial, and Arthur Andersen & Co., and he earned his Master of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.


Beyond investing, Kevin is deeply engaged in pediatric health and family support. He serves on the PNOC Foundation board, helping raise funds for the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium’s international network of clinical trials for children and young adults with brain tumors, and sits on the Advisory Board of Directors at Family House San Francisco, a free home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Since joining the Family House board in 2012, he has served as board treasurer and later as board chair, playing a key role in major campaigns and guiding the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as flagship events such as the Cabernet for Connoisseurs wine auction and milestone anniversary galas.
