Rob Stuart

PNOC Foundation Board Member

Recently retired as the president of Timberworks Building Contractors/Developers in Northern California, Rob Stuart brings to the PNOC Foundation Board more than three decades of advocacy and support for pediatric cancer research, compassionate care and family support. Following his son’s death from a rare brain tumor at the age of two in 1992, Stuart founded the Jordan & Kyra Memorial Foundation – raising more than $5 million to fund cutting-edge research being conducted at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center (now Dartmouth Cancer Center) and other renowned institutions.

Funding has also supported Family House in San Francisco, a home-away-from home for the families of children being treated for cancer at UCSF Medical Center, where he has served on the Advisory Board since 1995; and Jacob’s Heart, a Santa Cruz, CA nonprofit that provides comfort and care to children with cancer and their families, where he also has served on the board. As part of the PNOC Foundation Board, Stuart supports PNOC’s mission to raise funds and awareness for research and clinical trials aimed at improving outcomes for children with brain tumors.
