Donate Goods or Services to PNOC Foundation

A monetary gift isn't the only way to make an impact. In-kind donations of goods and professional services help PNOC Foundation run our events, support operations, and stretch every dollar of funding toward research.

Make an In-Kind Donation

In-kind donations of goods and services may be tax-deductible.

PNOC Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 46-3152273), and we provide documentation for qualifying in-kind gifts. The deductible value of an in-kind donation is generally the fair market value of the item or service donated. Consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

What is an in-kind donation?

An in-kind donation is a contribution of goods or services rather than cash. For PNOC Foundation, in-kind support might mean donating supplies for our events, contributing items for our live auction at the Gratitude Gala, offering professional services that our team would otherwise need to purchase, or providing venue space, catering, or equipment. Every in-kind gift reduces our overhead and puts more funding toward clinical trials.

What we accept

  • Auction and Event Items

PNOC Foundation's annual Gratitude Gala features a live auction that raises critical funding for pediatric brain cancer research. We welcome donations of high-value experiences, travel packages, fine wine, art, luxury goods, and other items that would resonate with a sophisticated event audience.

  • Professional Services

Do you offer services in design, photography, videography, web development, printing, marketing, event production, live music or catering? Professional services donated in-kind keep our operational costs low and our program dollars high. If your expertise can support our events or communications, reach out.

  • Event Supplies and Equipment

Tableware, fine wine, floral arrangements, signage, staging equipment, A/V, and event production materials are all welcome contributions. If you can help enhance a PNOC Foundation event, we are grateful for your support.

Other Goods

Not sure if what you have qualifies? Reach out and tell us what you'd like to donate. We will let you know if it's a good fit and work with you to make the donation as easy as possible.

  • Donations of goods and professional services to PNOC Foundation may be tax-deductible at fair market value. We provide a donation acknowledgment letter for qualifying gifts. Your deductible amount is determined by the fair market value of what you donate, not the cost you paid. Consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

  • The IRS generally requires donors to determine the fair market value of in-kind gifts. For items worth more than $500, you may need to complete IRS Form 8283. For items valued over $5,000, a qualified appraisal may be required. We recommend consulting your tax advisor to ensure you document your gift correctly.

  • Live auction items are sold to the highest bidder at the Gratitude Gala, with proceeds going directly to PNOC Foundation's research programs. Donated items are handled with care and presented in a way that reflects well on both PNOC Foundation and the donor.

  • Yes. Professional services like design, photography, catering, and event production are genuinely valuable in-kind contributions. We issue donation acknowledgment letters for service donations. The deductible value is the fair market value of the services provided.

  • For Gratitude Gala auction donations, items are generally needed several weeks before the event to allow time for promotion and logistics. Contact us as early as possible so we can plan accordingly. We accept in-kind donations for non-auction purposes year-round.
